SPATIAL STRUCTURE CHARACTERISTICS ANALYSIS OF TOURISM SUPPLY AND DEMAND IN HUBEI PROVINCE IN 2018

Abstract:Taking the A-grade tourist attractions and the tourist source areas in Hubei Province as the research object, the spatial structure of tourism supply and demand was explored systematically using mathematical statistics and spatial measurement methods. The results show that:1) Tourism supply and demand elements have a strong spatial agglomeration in Hubei Province, the overall supply and demand situation is poor and the regional differences are significant with resource and population orientation; 2) The hinterland of Jianghan Plain with dense tourist sources and the mountainous areas on the periphery with inconvenient transportation and sparse high-grade tourist attractions have a low degree of supply and demand; 3) With the expansion of search radius, the range of low-value area gradually narrows and the range of high-value areas expands along towns and roads with banding contiguous; 4) The mismatch of tourism supply and demand in Hubei Province is significant.
